I am sad to say that the Nemesis series has been concluded. It was the best books I have ever read, immersing myself and the readers into the violent story of the 64 classmates in the Program.
I have to say, things took a wild change in this book. The 20 classmates made it to Earth. But it wasn't Earth. They were living in a space-station, a marvel of technology, and they finally made it to the spaceship. I'm gonna summarize a LOT now.
Apparently, there were 4 Programs, but 1 didn't make it.
They have to compete so that one Program (class) and make it to Earth.
The one controlling all of this is Sophia.
Sophia makes everyone take part in tests and games to find the ones worthy of a new life. Losers are turned into jelly, that the classmates will eat. "Nothing goes to waste here"
The planet they are calling Earth is not Earth. It is Mars.
Sophia is actually an alien virus, trying to find people worthy of being her pawns to fetch resources for her to become even more powerful.
The classmates find out, and people from diverse programs join forces to over throw Sophia.
Sarah reawakens the Nemesis code, and the code temporarily halts Sophia.
In that distraction, the classmates crash the spaceship into Mars.
Lots of classmates die, by getting shot by bolts.
When Min is in danger of getting shot, Noah sacrifices himself so that Min lives.
Noah is dead.
The book ends by acknowledging Noah's sacrifice, saying we will always remember you, and we would've been dead without you. Min is very thankful, and I got a little bit emotional at this dystopian-love story ending.
I learned a lot of things from this series. Sacrifices must be made, and the people must try their utmost best to make the best from the sacrifice, always remembering it and being careful.
I loved Noah for being so selfless and heroic for his true love.
I hope my friends don't read this, they will make fun of me.
On that sad note, the Nemesis series is finally over. 1000/10.
Best book I have ever read, containing competition, violence, action, love, and true purity.
