This article was particularly interesting for me. I always thought the Government was supposed to have each other’s backs, and political. And now the FBI has broken that belief, because officials in the FBI are being sent to do a lie detector test whether they had bad-mouthed about their boss, Kash Patel.
The reason why I’m not sure about this choice is because firstly, trust needs to be gained over time. But using lie detectors to force that trust, not happening. And lie detectors are sometimes just wrong. You could be hot so you’re sweating, or you could be anxious about being called to his / her boss. Like the principal’s office. Who likes being called there?
And the most concerning part is that some officials are quitting from the FBI. I wonder when Mr. Patel will realize nearly 40% of his employees quit so he has to stop whatever he’s doing. That’s amusing to think about. Like, what’s the point of having so much money and power, just to break from the inside? So the citizens of America are losing their trust in the Government. That’s usually, or never, good.
I hope that won’t permanently destroy American society, but I wish they could use this opportunity to lower some tariffs on the rest of the world. 💀
