저는 이 책을 읽고 충격받았습니다. 형사가 그냥 눈대중으로 “아! 이 사람이 범죄자구나! 계속 따라가야지~” 하는 것을 보고 짜증났습니다. 도대체 왜 이러는 걸까요? 형사는 이러면 안되고 침착하게 단서를 찾아 정확히 범죄자인지 아닌지 알아야 됩니다. 포그는 범죄자가 아니였고, 범죄자는 그와 비슷하게 생긴 사람이었습니다. 저는 이런 일이 절대 있으면 안된다고 생각합니다. 그 사람이 다칠 수도 있기 때문입니다.
