This book was the second series to the Kane Chronicles. Iโ€™ll just skip to the good part.


My favorite part about this book was when Set kind of bullied the ice-cream guy for trapping him and threatening to magically puff him into dust. Upon hearing that, Carter and Sadie heroically jumped into action, freeing Set, and then Set got his revenge, then Set poofed back to Duat.ย 


7/10! I enjoyed this, but the first book was much better. Sorry! ๐Ÿ˜žย 


I wished that there could be more action, suspense, and corny jokes in the book like all of the series. I wouldโ€™ve liked if Set actually took the ice-cream dude to the Duat to torture him for all eternity. Itโ€™s funny to imagine Set holding his torturer by the neck and vanishing with him. :D
