After falling to the Underworld, Percy and Annabeth struggle to survive. However, with the help of Bob and Damasen, they manage to survive through the fun trip, and manage to close the Doors of Death on Tartarus. Meanwhile, the Argo II people go to the House of Hades on the overworld to shut the Doors of Death there. All of the characters become slightly stronger. Hazel masters the Mist, Frank becomes used to being a leader, Leo confronts his problems. They battle monsters and sorceresses, and much more.
I personally enjoyed this book, as it was a nice way to create a bridge to the end of the series. I would have liked it more if it was less sudden. Maybe if they closed the Doors of Death on Tartarus in one book and closing the Doors of Death on the Overworld in another book.
10/10!
This was an extremely tense and humorous, classical Rick Riordan book.
Also some people in my school didn’t like this book, I don’t understand.
